For our Seniors

We have planned a Hub specifically for Seniors, which will be a smaller size and located in the beautiful Prayer Chapel onsite. This Hub is hosted by Pastor Gayle Barnes and a small group of volunteers.

How to get a ticket to the Seniors Chapel Hub

Tickets for Hubs become available through our website every Monday at midday.

We know that sometimes booking things online can be confusing. If you need assistance, please phone us on (07) 3353 1377 after midday on Monday and our Reception Team will do their best to help you.

Your ticket will then be emailed to you but don't worry, you won't need to print it out. We will be able to find your name and check you in on the morning.

We recommend aiming to arrive between 9am - 9:15am.

Please note that there is limited space available for this Hub and to ensure the safety of everyone, please make sure you have a ticket

Carparks are Nearby

We have nearby disabled carparks available in Carpark 3 as well as plenty of reserved carspaces in the Nexus Care carpark, 20 metres away from the Chapel.

Increased Hygiene Procedures

We are committed to stopping the spread of Covid-19 and are taking all necessary precautions to keep you and your family safe.

Along with registering and following our guidelines listed above, we ask that you practice social distancing wherever possible and make regular use of the hand sanitiser which will be readily available at all our Hubs. Let's say Hi and show our love and excitement for being back together with our words and smiles and temporarily suspend hugs and handshakes at all Nexus Hubs.

Our volunteer teams are here to help keep you safe and we ask that you follow all their instructions at all times.

How will I know where to go?

We have the location of each Hub listed on each Hub webpage and once you register, your tickets and handy information is sent to your email inbox.

We’ll also have some signs out to help you when you arrive, so you know where to go.

What can I expect at a Hub?

Nexus Hubs are all about cultivating community. Each Hub is a ticketed gathering to ensure we meet Covid-19 guidelines.

When you arrive, there's plenty of free nearby carparking and a short walk to the Hub. At the entrance you'll see some of our helpful team who will scan your ticket from your smartphone or search for your name to check you in. You'll walk through the doors and be able to find a seat and undoubtedly be greeted a few times from our happy volunteers.

For those who have Kids Tickets, you'll be ushered through to Nexus Kids to complete a short sign-in for your child/ren to ensure safety.

At 9:30am the live-stream video will commence, you'll be invited to stand and sing together (words for all the songs are on the screen. This church service will run for around 60 minutes and conclude with the Hub Pastor closing the service in-person on a microphone.

Unwell or Can't Make It Any More?
